The Weather Authority Forecast

High clouds have streamed in ahead of a very slow moving storm system that will eventually bring us small chances for rain going into the weekend. A big difference today with an increase in humidity and warmer temperatures. Tonight, overnight lows will be as pleasantly cool like the past few nights. Look for lows in the lower 60's with partly cloudy skies.

Wednesday, the clouds and moisture keep building, especially west of the Mississippi River. We have introduced a 20% chance of showers and storms west of the Mississippi as well, mainly afternoon. Everyone else will see partly cloudy to partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 80's to near 90.

The remnants of Fay will impact our weather one way or another. The latest weather models forecast the tropical system to loom over the SE US for a few days before eventually drifting NW. For a closer look at our thought on Fay, check the Weather Authority Blog here.
